Videos

Two videos tonight.

First, this is why Ted Kennedy was the best at what he did.

And this really cracked me up tonight when I watched it. Glenn Beck is an idiot.

  1. Gosh...after an entire week of presenting facts on the take over of freedom by this administration and his CZARS, all Keith can make fun of is his misspelling which he later corrected and a flubbed quote. Wow he is just a intellectual giant!!! Oh wait...didn't Keith say and I quote "ours is the highest rated show for all viewers not on fixed news." Um i guess in his world FOX doesn't exist? Because if you take MSNBC's top shows: Chris Matthews,Rachel Maddow, and Keith Olbermann and add them together they are still about 300,000 viewers shy of JUST Glenn Beck. So yes that is true. If you remove everyone who has more ratings than you...you ARE the highest rated show in cable news. He is a joke!!! A puppet...and if you look hard enough you can see Obama's hand up his ass! I wonder if he can talk while Barack drinks a glass of water? Watch out Keith you are letting you jealousy show!!!..."oh yeah...well....he...he made a mistake...he said walk...it's TALK you idiot! Watch my show... PLEASE...I had good ratings when I talked about sports!!!!" Maybe they should call his show "Countdown to Cancellation!!"

  2. Oh and did I mention Glenn Beck is on at a time when most people are still at work????

And every rating list that I have seen in the past couple weeks puts Keith floating just inside the top 10!!! Hardly 1st!! So Justin tell me...is he lying to his audience or just that stupid???

  3. This is hilarious. You can’t beat a good video flub. One of my favorites is candidate Obama’s video telling the audience he has now visited 57 states with one to go. (I’m going to give the president the benefit of the doubt and assume it was just a slip and he actually knows how may states he now rules over. He is a Harvard elitist after all. Most Ivy League schools teach geography. Of course since Bush went to both Harvard and Yale, Ivy League schools may be highly over rated.)

Mr. Beck has been giving facts and showing videos of President Obama’s czars and their extreme views for several weeks. He is also inviting the audience to research his facts and refute them. So the only thing Olbermann can find to refute after several weeks is the Twilight Zone cookbook error and other trivial slips? Gee. Keith is truly a mental giant in the world of politics.

(Well, at least in his own mind. I saw on the web when researching his name he claimed to have the highest ratings in cable news. The best rating I saw on the net was in May where he held the 10th position. Well behind FNC’s headliners. Maybe he needs a chocolate chip cookie or two to help him confess the ratings truth. A few Chips Ahoy' will loosen almost any tongue I hear.)

What Olbermann has done however is study Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. In this clip, he has definitely perfected RULE 5 which states: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

View it again with rule 5 in mind. Perfect example, huh? Nothing of importance in it except the ridicule. Does it bother you to have fallen for a simple slight of hand or are you an advocate. I must admit it did make me mad until I realized his purpose. You may not agree with Glen Beck, but at least he tries to use intellectual honesty to persuade with facts, not radical rules of engagement such as ridicule. Olbermanm has to use Alinsky.

I too am studying Alinsky so I now the enemy. As a progressive, you should watch Beck so you can arm yourself against him. You should know your enemies as well. Research his facts so you can refute them with facts, not talking points and generalities.

Of course you may be a “truther” or self-admitted Communist like Van Jones, his Green Jobs Advisor. In that case, you probably don’t find Obama’s advisor’s views particularly extreme. The above will be totally meaningless so you may go back to studying Marxism. Wikipedia states: "At its core, Marxism holds a critical analysis of capitalism and a theory of social change."

Hmmm… Since you have a disdain for people who make money and a propensity to take from the rich and give to the poor in the name of social justice and change, you are either well on your way to becoming a full fledged Communist or one of Robin Hood's band of merry men. The philosophy seems very similar, don't you think? Only time will tell.

Just a foot note. Christianity is slightly different in that while Jesus preached to give to the poor and take care of your neighbor, he was referring to giving out of our own pocket. Not taking it from your neighbor on the left and giving it to the neighbor on your right. To him it was the act of individual sacrifice and evidence of your love for His children. Not the benefit to the recipient. If the benefit was the point, wouldn't God just end poverty and disease? Since Jesus said to his disciples in Jn 12:8, "You will always have the poor among you but you will not always have me." it sounds like no matter how much you give it won't be enough. It is the personal sacrifice for others that is the point.

Wasn't sure if you are a Christ Follower or not, but you have used Christ in some of your arguments.
